Nagoya serves an integral part in the Central Japan area. By Train

From the arrival area, go to Chubu Centrair International Airport Station on foot.
Get on a Meitetsu Limited Express train bound for Meitetsu Nagoya Station.
Alight at Meitetsu Nagoya Station.

Note: If you are heading to other parts of Aichi Prefecture or Gifu Prefecture, JR Nagoya Station is just a short walk from Meitetsu Nagoya Station.

By Bus

From Chubu Centrair, walk to the Passenger Terminal Building where airport buses arrive.
At the Passenger Terminal Building (first floor), board an airport bus to either Downtown (Sakae/Meitetsu Bus Center) or JR Nagoya Station West Gate.
Alight at your preferred bus stop.

Fare: ¥1,200 (Downtown); ¥1,500 (JR Nagoya Station)
Travel Time: 45 minutes to 90 minutes (Downtown); 55 minutes (JR Nagoya Station)
